Tiny Magiq was founded in Feb 2015 by Sukumar Rajagopal, Kumaran Anandan and 2 other cofounders. Our ambition is to help organizations, anywhere in the globe, achieve their most ambitious outcomes through digital transformation, all by themselves, frugally. We use a patent-pending PhenoBL (Phenonmenon-based Learning) based methodology to enable the people in our client organizations to produce breakthrough outcomes with guidance and mentoring from our team of experienced mentors. Tiny Magiq maybe amongst just a handful of firms in the world that is applying PhenoBL to the corporate sector.

Our team

Sukumar Rajagopal

Founder & CEO

Sukumar founded Tiny Magic in 2015, along with Kumaran Anandan, after a 19-year stint at Cognizant.

During that time, he spearheaded two $1B+ business impact-creating programs – OneCognizant as the Global CIO, and Managed Innovation as the Head of Innovation in parallel. He also led the development of Cognizant 2.0 as the CKO.

For his 33 years in the IT services industry and his contribution to these award-winning transformational change initiatives, he received lifetime recognition through the 2014 ComputerWorld Premier 100 IT Leaders program. In 2013 and 2014, he was rated by Huffington Post as one of the Top 100 Social CIOs. He is a Tiny Habits® Certified Coach.


Kumaran Anandan

Co-Founder & CTO

Prior to joining hands with Sukumar Rajagopal to start Tiny Magiq, Kumaran had an illustrious career in the IT industry, including a long spell as Distinguished Enterprise Architect at Microsoft Consulting Services. His 25 years of leadership and hands-on experience in generating business value through the use of technology in industry domains has garnered him wide-ranging experience working with nearly 100 customers in India. Kumaran also successfully ran his own software company for 3 years.

His core focus is working with senior executives in business and IT to align technology with business goals in order to deliver business benefits. He is an IASA Certified Architect (CITA-D) – Distinguished Architect, one of 20 people across the globe, and a practicing PMP. He is also on the board of IASA certifications.


Sanjay Radhakrishnan

Mentor Advisor

Sanjay has had a 25-year career with rich experience in the IT Services domain. He was one of the founding members of Cognizant’s Information, Media & Entertainment practice and was instrumental in building and scaling the practice. He led the company’s enterprise social program and built one of the largest enterprise social networks for 180K people within Cognizant. He was also part of the core team that designed and built the award-winning One Cognizant platform.

Sanjay is an expert in Design Thinking and brought Design Thinking concepts to Cognizant. He formally learnt Design Thinking @ Stanford d.school, has conducted over 200 design thinking workshops, and brings to the table a nuanced perspective on how Design Thinking can be put to practice successfully in business contexts.


Anbarasu Thangavelu, Ph.D

Mentor Advisor

Anbarasu is a man of many passions and talents. His over 25-year career has seen him work in multiple fields, ranging from IT, manufacturing, telecom, insurance, energy and logistics, to teaching. He has worked with well-known industry leaders like Larsen & Toubro, TCS, Infosys and Cognizant, as well as helped the operations of a start-up IT Solutions company. He has managed large IT projects, delivered successful Integration programs, and developed solutions across verticals using various technologies. In addition, he has taught Technology and Project Management for management students at Karunya School of Management, Coimbatore.

But above all, he enjoys helping people in their personal transformation using Emotional Intelligence (EQ). His interests are in Social Psychology, EQ and Mindfulness. He holds a Ph.D. in Performance Management.


Aparna N Rao

Mentor Advisor

Aparna is a Chartered Accountant and CISA with 30+ years of diverse experience across multiple practices, including Auditing, Risk Management, Direct Taxation, Company Law, Accounting and Equity Markets. She has successfully implemented change management, process improvements and best practices across these multiple functions. Her experience is predominantly across the BFS and KPO space, and includes a seven-year stint as the founder partner of an all-women Chartered Accountancy firm in the early stages of her career.


Jayashree Sridharan

Mentor Advisor

In a career spanning more than three decades, Jayashree has conceptualized, designed, built and delivered several transformation initiatives. Early on, she headed the delivery management of large, complex programs for one of the largest banks in the US. She went on to run the enterprise-wide, transformational and award-winning One Cognizant platform program.

She has co-authored a paper on “App development to beat IT backlog” published by Cooker Consortium-a business IT strategic forum. She is also an Accredited Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF).
